Swedish body massage, like many other types of massage, is one way people can relieve stress and tension in their lives. The movements used in these massages are similar to the way the body circulates blood. Because of this, massage can promote healthy circulation, increase blood flow, and help the body remove metabolic waste more quickly and effectively. Better circulation not only helps you feel better, but improves overall health since increased circulation and blood flow means other organs can work more effectively
Deep tissue massage offers both physical and psychological benefits. Unlike other massage techniques that focus on relaxation, deep tissue massage helps to treat muscle pain and improve stiffness. Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
The hot stone massage is a combination of these super-smooth stones and complementing oils with steady pressure (either full body or targeted areas) to warm muscles, tendons and ligaments, which can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation
Aromatherapy massage not only has powerful physical, emotional and mental effects but it is also described as a great relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The benefits of aromatherapy massage affect a wide range of health conditions of nervous, circulatory, lymphatic, immune and muscular systems. During an aromatherapy massage, you inhale these essential oil molecules or absorb them through your skin. They are thought to promote beneficial changes in your mind and body by affecting the limbic system, a region of the brain known to influence the nervous system
Cannabidiol (CBD) is an oil derived from the cannabis plant. Possible health benefits include reducing inflammation and pain. All cannabinoids produce effects in the body by interacting with cannabinoid receptors, which form part of the endocannabinoid system. The body produces two receptors:
CB1 receptors are present throughout the body, particularly in the brain. They co-ordinate movement, pain, emotion, mood, thinking, appetite, memories, and other functions.
CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They affect inflammation and pain. CBD oil his thought to have a huge range of potential health benefits and uses, including reduction of pain, soothing anxiety, fighting chronic diseases, improving mood, eliminating depression, preventing inflammatory arthritis, protecting the immune system, balancing the metabolism, aiding sleep disorders, and healing the skin.”
Indian head massage is believed to help relieve headaches, stress, improve sleep and muscle tension. It may also help to stimulate health and wellness and relieve migraines, insomnia, and sinusitis.
The Thai hot compresses are ideal for alleviating pain, stiff, sore or pulled muscles and ligaments, chronic back aches, arthritis, even skin conditions, migraines and chronic stress or anxiety. The blend of traditional Thai herbs used in these compresses has a relaxing and invigorating effect on the body and mind, soothing sore and overworked muscles while giving the body’s energy reserves a huge boost. The herbs in each compress possess properties that are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and antioxidant.
Thai foot reflexology (commonly known as Thai Foot Massage) is the application of pressure onto particular areas of the soles of the feet. A reflex action in another part of the body is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area. Foot reflexology massage uses hands, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, and a rounded wooden Thai stick with reflexology balm.
